Patient experience

PELC is committed to providing patients with the best care we can. We welcome all feedback from patients and use this to improve our services.

Every month we carry out a postal survey of a sample of patients who have used the GP Out of Hours service and the Emergency and Urgent care (EUCC) service. These surveys are used to obtain patients' feedback on our services. In the year 2012/2013, 82% of respondents felt that the Out of Hours service was excellent or good. 86% of respondents were satisfied with the EUCC service they received. 92% felt that the receptionists were efficient and professional.

In addition to this the Out of Hours service in Outer North East London* was rated well in the most recent MORI National GP patient survey. Results show more than 70% of respondents had confidence and trust in the out-of-hours clinician.
