Clinical Advisors
PELC is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its organisation and is recruiting to the post of Nurse Clinical Advisor / Paramedic Clinical Advisor.
Your job as a Clinical Advisor will be to receive and triage user/patient calls for the assessment of health and clinical needs utilising your professional and clinical judgement, backed up by decision support software. You will need excellent communication and IT skills, as well as the ability to stay calm, think clearly, often under pressure. You will have responsibility for providing clinical support to the Operators whilst operating within the call centre.
You must have at least a year’s post-registration professional paramedic or nursing experience and registered as a state registered paramedic (HCPC) or 1st level nurse (NMC) RGN essential. Working hours are on a shift basis covering a 24/7 hours rota.
