  • Receptionists
  • Administrators
  • Drivers

See our Job profiles page for a description of some of these roles.

As a permanent member of staff you will receive an induction to help familiarise you with the organisation. Permanent staff also receive the following benefits:

NHS Pension scheme
PELC employees have the opportunity to join the new NHS Pension scheme. Members' contributions are tiered, based on the employees' full-time equivalent pensionable pay including pensionable allowances. Contributions range from 5% to 10.9%. Further information is available from the NHS Pension Scheme website.

Annual leave
Full time employees are entitled to annual leave that ranges between 20-25 days plus bank holidays. Entitlement is based on length of service. For part-time employees annual leave entitlements are calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Season ticket loan
If you use public transport to travel to and from work, you may benefit from our season ticket loan. On employment with PELC you can apply for a season ticket loan and the repayments are spread throughout the year in 12 monthly instalments taken directly from your salary.

Occupational health
Our occupational health service offers medical support for all our staff.

Employee confidential support helpline
We operate a confidential staff counselling support helpline run by DAS.
